Ryan Peters

Dr. Ryan Peters was born and raised in Kohler, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate studies at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota as a scholar athlete majoring in Biology. While earning his B.A. degree, he played golf, selected twice as team captain and earning academic all-conference all four years. After college, he was selected by the United States Army as a Health Professions Scholar to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia where he received his D.M.D. in 2014. From here he completed his Internship and Residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD in 2018.

Following his residency training Dr. Peters served as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the United States Army at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX for three years. He recently returned to the DMV area to continue his active duty military service at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. His time with these institutions provided a unique experience as a full-scope staff surgeon and mentor to surgery residents.

Dr. Peters is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His special interests include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants and bone grafting, treatment of oral maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery, and reconstructive surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Peters is always active. He enjoys traveling, music, and playing sports. He is an avid golfer and strong supporter of all Wisconsin-based sports teams.
